Odumosu commended the RRS officers working under the supervision of DCP Tunji Disu and ACP Bode Ojajuni, who is in charge of Area ‘A’ Command covering Ikoyi.

Ojajuni said that policing with a human face has always been preached by CP Odumosu and drummed into the ears of policemen on the beat by supervisors.

The officers had seen a man in distress at about 3am on Friday, when they were on normal patrol of their beat around Ikoyi.

He was accosted and asked where he was heading that early during a lockdown.

The man, impatiently blurted out that his wife was in labour and that he had been looking for vehicle for some time to no avail.

The officers hurriedly got him into their patrol vehicle after informing their Monitor at Area ‘A’ Command.

They drove him to his residence and took him and his wife to a hospital in Obalende, Lagos.
