Former Lagos police spokesman, SP Bala Elkana, has passed the baton to his successor, SP Muyiwa Adejobi, who resumed Monday.

Adejobi was appointed last week by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu.

After the handing over ceremony at the Lagos State Police Public Relations Office, Oduduwa Street, Ikeja, today, Elkana thanked journalists and members of the public for their support. He appealed that same should be extended to Adejobi.

“SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi could be reached on his cell phone NO 08037168147 for sharing of information/Intelligence and smooth partnership between the police and the general public,” Elkana stated.

Responding, Adejobi assured the general public of “commitment to duties and responsiveness to issues that could promote effective policing, protection of human rights and sustainability of justice across board in the state, In line with the policing agenda of the Commissioner of police Lagos State”.
